Just gotta let you know you are doing a great job with this VN and hope there's more to Spencer's route in the future. You have probably gone for Richard then. Richards route is the newest one that just had his first 2 days implemented. try going for any of the other guys without engaging with Richard and look if the game progreses further.

Your route is picked based on who you interact with during the first two days. Pick Darius as your tennis partner on the first day. Don't spend too much time helping Richard that evening. The next day head to the gym, choose to work out, and Darius will pop up when you're changing into workout clothes. Pick him as your spotter. That should lock you into his route.
If you like the nerdy jock type (he's an amazing cook too)...Go 4 Chester.....Quiet horny green peace type...Dozer...Darius' route will drain you emotionally...he's a rich perv with a surprisingly romantic side....Coach Grifters' route is sooooooo amazing too...athletic artistic poet like book nerd(reads and writes smut sometimes)...Good boi Spencer has a good rep but...hes's a naughty horny puppy with an interesting kink
If you want a route that's complete, choose Harold (coach Grifter), Chester, or Spencer. Otherwise, pick whoever appeals to you most. None of the guys are who they appear to be at first glance, and that's a good thing. Coach Grifter is big and strong, but has a very soft side. He's been hurt by his failed marriage, but that makes him extra eager to prove his affection for a new romantic partner. Spencer seems like the perfect husky- star tennis player, A student, tutor, and he can't stand the overly sexual Darius. But he has a hidden side, he has a job that no one who knows him would ever guess a man like Darius would do. Chester is a big bull with some anger issues. The root of those anger issues isn't something you would expect. He has a lot of hidden passions that you can encourage him to pursue. Dozier is a big guy, seems kind of scary with his lack of talking. Behind that rough exterior is a caring person with a rough past, a love of growing plants, and quite the kinky mind. Darius comes off as a pervert with tons of sexual conquests and no real thought about other people. Inside he's trying to keep himself from being hurt. oh and i was playing darius route on an earlier day and the error screen showed up and i ignored it and so i start fast forwarding and richard's clothes were off so i mean i guess i should have expexted thoses types of bugs when ignoring error screens

Okay so this is more of a rant than anything else, okay so I am on Daruis's route and I must say I am really starting to like that dumb lion alot he's showing such a different side of himself, he's adorable but I was shocked with Spencer when he said that he loved me but then made it sound like he loved Daruis and I was taken back, the lion was starting to let you on slowly but surely but I just say props to Dyne for having me hooked to this game I hope he might have some EA expansion in mind later on when the game is finished I love this game no other VN had the same impact on me like this one 20out of10 love it.
There is ONE thing that bothers me. Chester is a cow right? I found it so uncomfortable that Harold and I had beef tips for lunch (day 24) it felt soooo WEIRD reading it. how do you cover Up for this one DyneWulf? LOL 😂

I find it odd that so many seem to have trouble with Darius and Spencer's routes. I got the good ending the first time through.
I would suggest becoming a patron and as such you will get access to the route guides.

The start is, where you get to lock yourself into the role. A couple more days should be available with July's update.

You don't have to update, just download the new version of the game, run it, and then it will find your previous saves on your computer.

I downloaded the update but when I tried installing it it said app not installed. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall it?
Jusy uninstall the old one and then install the new one. You'll have to start over again.

There is a difference between normal animals and the anthro ones, and Chester does talk about that on his route :)
