Hello! I just wanted to say that I came across this for the first time and I really like it so far.

I was wondering, if there could be more "immersion" if that makes sense as far as the "player" character goes. I'm not asking for any sort of full customization or whatever, I was just wondering if it would be possible to add an option to where we can choose our skin tone. Just a simple "white or black" option at the start of the game, that's all. Just something I, as a black guy playing his game, would like to see. I don't know how difficult that would be to pull off, but if you  are able to, it would be amazing! Anyways that's all, thanks for the fun game!

But... at the beginning of the game there are customization options where you can choose color of hair, eyes and skin tone...

Hi i was wondering if anyone else was having problems with the quick time events during the tennis scenes I'm on android btw

i wonder what will happen after Extracurricular Activities? will there be another Date Game like this in the Future or something different?

This is my first review ever (I just finished Spencer, Coach and Chester routes). I choose the three because they all have a bonus day, so the review will be to the fullest and I have to say, wow, what an amazing experience. I have been skeptical for a long time about whether I would even like the game or not (I am more into fantasy settings than the slice of life) but it blew me away how good the game is. I got hooked on the characters almost instantly, by their personality (and their physical appearance), the background is beautifully drawn, and the soundtrack is very catchy (I have seen myself humming to the tennis theme a lot lately), and the side characters are very diverse with different species, personality and body types. The story is a little bit of a slow burn, but I don’t really mind either and the ending is so cute it warms my heart (I have been giggling at “the moment” a lot, it is just so wholesome). Overall, I love this FVN and I can’t wait to see what comes.

(Spoiler for the Spencer, Coach and Chester route) This part I will go deeper into each route and say what I think about them, so if you haven’t played their route, please go and try them out.

Spencer route: He’s the first route I have finished, and his route is what I think the “canon” timeline in the game was. He’s the only route (that I have played) where we see the wedding and see what happens with the other characters, and they all seem to be happy with their other half (Chester with Dozer, Darius with bandit, Coach with Ger). He’s the only one who had a deep connection with the MC and like the coach said, “long-life friend turned lover is such a cute trope.” But he is probably my least favorite of the three. Don’t get me wrong. His route is amazing, and I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but Spencer has been portrayed as perfect by people and his route has the same portrayal. He’s almost perfect at anything except cleaning and cooking (early on in the route). His struggle is that he doesn’t want people to know he works at a strip bar, and he wants the approval of people (especially his brother), which is an OK struggle, but compared to Harold and Chester struggle, his struggle is on the weaker side. His conflict with Darius is very interesting. I would never have thought they had history with each other, and it makes the story more complex. Personally, I think his route should have an “antagonist” like with coach and Chester route, so we can see more of his “messy” side. The best thing on his route for me was at the two weddings. When I play that part, all I can do is smile ear to ear, it is just so wholesome. Overall, though I may have a little nickpicking with Spencer's route, the endings and all the cute interaction with his dog side and family overthrow all the nickpicking I have, and I enjoy every minute I have spent with my overside husky.

Coach (or Harold) route: he’s the second route I have finished, and he’s my favorite route of the three. His route is just so RAW. The moment we find out about his depression. The talk we have and the vulnerability of it just hit me hard. I have some depression too (not as bad as him) but I feel so seen when he acts like he is fine to everybody else, because I have done the same thing, act like I’m fine and hope it just goes away, but I know it’s not the way to handle it and seek out for help pretty soon, I’m lucky to have a good support from family and friends, but I know many people may not be lucky to have it, so please if you know someone with depression, please tell them to seek for help, treat them with kindness and understanding and be their for them (sorry for a bit of rambling, but I hope it will help someone out there). The way you guys portray him makes me think of a broken snow glove, beautiful if it sits still, but just a sake, the liquid spills over, and it becomes more hallowed. He is a broken man with a broken heart, and you can see that in his actions, like when he defends his ex-wife without a doubt in him or even when she breaks into his house, he still does not want to report her immediately. The desperation and sadness in his action is what makes the healing the MC did more powerful and, like I say, RAW. It's a slow process but a rewarding one, and you can feel the change in him too. Sometimes he still sakes and liquid spills, but it becomes better and better and when he finally closes the crack in his heart, my heart feels the same thing. It’s just beautiful and the moment he says “Will you marry me?” with the 5 “YES” answer: Ah!! My heart hurts from all the cuteness of that moment (that is my favorite moment along his route and probably the first time we find out about his depression and the teary talk afterward is probably the second favorite). I don’t think I have anything to nickpicking in his route. From the beginning to the end, the struggle, the healing, everything is just perfect. The broken now-healing snow glove “Papa bear”. (Sorry if it's a bit cheesy).

Chester route: he’s the third route. I have finished, and he’s probably the funniest route of the game, all the nerdy anime and video game references, the off-brand name for Nintendo, the realistic bull/cow in one dream sequence. You can feel the team was having a blast with his route, but comedy needs tragedy and the team have not just made him a haha funny route and call it a day, they created a tragedy that is almost as strong as the comedy. The realistic portrayal of a sexual assault on Chester route really stands out to me. How even after years have passed, he still has nightmares about it, how he feels like it was his fault, even though he is the one that was assaulted. It portrays the scars he had on his mind. The body may have healed, but the mind still hurts, and the anger towards the one who has hurt him. It feels real, and it’s hurt. I haven’t been through such vial things like that before, but I have friends who unfortunately have been thought it and to say it’s BAD is an understatement so when I see the MC almost go through that make my blood boiling just like Chester and Andrew have. That brings me to the only thing that I have nick pick with the Chester route. Vernon should have a worst fate than he has. After all the harassment he did to the MC and Chester, he should have got worse than just get expelled. I know it's probably a moral lesson the team want to tell that “violence is not the answer,” but WOW, I really want Chester to punch the shit out of him, but I guess the indication that Darius has done something to him and the humiliation at the cafeteria is good enough (I guess >:(, sorry I’m a little bit salty about it). Overall, I love Chester route, all the nerdy references from game and anime (I like the one when he mentions Asgore the most, Undertale/Deltarune is one of my favorite video games) the tender moment between him and MC and the pixel game at the end with the engage is so sweet (that my favorite moment and the moment when he talks about his assault is really touching too, probably my second favorite), and Andrew is best side character (not count Maria though because she's the best), every time his glasses shine I’m scared for who make him mad (except Vernon). So that's my review of Chester route, full of fun and sadness and anger, but never a dull moment with my “Moo”.

OK, that’s all I have to say for my review. I’m sorry for anyone who might suffer from my grammar (I’m not a native speaker, so if I say something off or wrong please understand why, thank you and have a good day/night).

Just started Chester's route and noticed that during the con their faces don't change. They change clothes but all the way through day 11-13 they have the default expression. Can't tell if that was intentional but it was noticeable.

Since this game is probably going to end in less than a year, do you have any other games planned for the future? I know this project alone took almost 10 yrs to complete, and its crazy how its almost done.

Is it getting updated today?
