Hey I absolutely love this visual novel the characters and routes are great. The story is very interesting, and I like how down to earth it is, but I have question just out of curiosity...
What are the "canon," pairings? I'd love to know what the team considers to be the "one true pairing," for each of the characters!

I will say my only gripe with the game is how Darius goes in on Isaac in the hospital? Like I get he's mad, but it was borderline damn near misogyny. "Sissy, bitch, f****t, c**t," etc. It reeeeally threw me off with this game especially since I actually see some of the characters as a bit effeminate than masculine.
i think the canon one is probably with spencer ngl, cuz then chester is with dozer and darius is well... himelf and doesn't really feel like he needs someone until the mc sticks around him a ton and makes him rely on him idk, darius is kinda good by himself, and spence and the mc kinda just go hand in hand
I partially agree about Spencer. After changing day 3 and removing the "nobody loves you" ending, Spencer became the "default" route of the game. That's it. This does not mean that he has become a canon. And I don't agree about Darius. He hold his face so no one can hurt his feelings. And just look at his interaction with Spencer in every routes. Even you asked yourself "and what about lion?". These two deserve each other. And based on that(not only that, there are a lot more reasons), my personal canon is:Spencer+Darius | Chester+Dozer | MC+Harold | Maria+Richard | Dwayne+(idk)Primal? :)
if you play through the routes I still think Darius is just needing someone to care about. He has a hard time showing how he actually feels but he goes out of his way to help out the MC in literally every route you go down. I do have a minor gripe about the Dozer route (after you do Chester's) but that's just because it's hypocritical of what was said like 1 or 2 days before.
Hi, someone has encountered an error with the Richard scenes, not in his route but in the other routes. When Richard is supposed to appear in a scene, the game displays an error message from the RenPy engine. I don't know why this is happening, or if it's because I used save states from other versions, or if something went wrong with the game. By the way, I'm using the Android version. If you have a solution, can you please contact me on my Telegram haha (: @MMNOTHINGHERE) or through this platform as well.
Oh Richard Richard. He is a big headache. I don't remember that any other character caused so many mistakes. Even not in his own route. I don't know anything about coding, but my idea is the same as yours. Saves work very strange sometimes. Just for the record, sometimes I can't load saves on PC, depending on how I launched the game - through the exe or through the game engine itself. I am not even gonna talk about opening old save files. I am pretty sure if you start a new game on the latest version, there will be no any problems. I don't think anyone will have any other solution for you right now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Try to skip to the same point and tell us if that helped. I'm curious.
Yes I have. Thanks for the help, I will start with Harold's route and then going down with each route, prolly will need like 4 months to have all my save games cause I love to save every single scene that I considered necessary.
When you are preparing meat and pasta - it is regular QTE. When it comes to cooking the steaks - you need to skip some QTEs. One QTE equals one min. You need to flip it only once and it will be done. That means you need to skip the first three QTE and press the correct key on the fourth. It's simple. Be patient with the dialogs.
As a lil suggestion, i think Chester face expressions should change in day 24 at the moment when Andrew and you tell him about the assult. Even though his dialogue express pure rage his sprite its just showing his normal one. Just a lil change.
Do not agree with you about "pure rage expression through the whole dialogue". For the first shocked line - definitely yes. But when he is talking about what he is going to do with Vernon his "serious" expression is more appropriate to me, cause it looks like he is saying it more to himself. This is the closest thing to my idea of this situation when he viciously says through his teeth that he will kill him.
But on the whole, you are right. This scene can be reworked to add more expression through facial expressions. For example, to add a nervous expression to Chester's face when he does not yet know what the conversation is going to be about, but already understands that something serious has happened. And the smiling standard face expression of the MC is also out of place in this emotional scene.
BTW comments here are not the best way to report a bug, Dyne doesn't respond here as often. He somehow collect feedback through google document on patreon, and I also have no idea how to send a bug report without being a patron. So catch an upvote from me. That's all we can do)
Might be a silly question haha but ive seen comments on how harold can pop a button off with his belly in a scene or something? is there a certain way to do this? ive played his route but i cant remember that happening, i did play his route a couple years ago so unless its a update? idk but id like to read that part
I might be silly for asking this. But how can I update to the newest version while also keeping my progress? I don't want to lose my ongoing route with Spence.
If you're on android, download the game, it'll say something like "you already have this app, do you want to update it" and you'll still have all your saves when it's done. Dunno about other platforms, but I imagine they're similar.

btw translation is very hard work, which takes a lot of time. don't wait for it anytime soon. (as i understand renpy - changing even one letter in the dialogue string ruins the whole line of translation. the game need to be ended and polished first)
its never too late to learn a new language or try to do a translation by yourself. i guess Dyne will appreciate any help with it when time comes to it

I think its so funny to me how all the routes are like, serious and normal (to a certain point), and then we just have the goofy Bara Godmother there at the start
Extracurricular Activities became my favorite game. It's so amazing to see the development between the characters in your rote and in outher rote to notice little things of a character that you saw in a different rote.

I have to ask, are the epilogues always just going to use the default protagonist name? I have the two unlocked in the Extras screen but neither starts straight from the ending of the route

Everything, was perfect. I was taken aback by the MC's parents coming, and his father actually being a nice person. The wedding was beautiful, and the... adaptations Darius came with were magnificent. Also, Ger and Harold at the ending were so cute.
The dance, the Argentine Tango, the waltz... the picture session... the hot picture session, and the ending, with Erick and Spencer layed down together after some really hot sex... It was beautiful, all of it.
I am glad to be able to read another epilogue, and to see another chapter closed.
It is sad to see them go, but I do fell happiness for see a glimpse of their future.

Can't wait to see how Chester, Dozer (And possibly, and hopefully, Chester too) and our favorite lion Darius will be.
It was wonderful. My face hurts from smiling, it was the best thing I've experienced in months. But it is also hard to hold back the tears, because it was incredibly touching.
Spencer's day 35 made me cry, but now it was... something... cosmic.
I really don't know what else to say, or how to express my gratitude, a lot of work has obviously been done here and... thanks. Thank you for this incredible experience and these wonderful feelings.

I loved it, but then it gets me thinking. though its gonna be long before it happens but this game is gonna end one day and its gonna be sad but hey i can say that i played it!! I gotta say I relate to Andrew on a spiritrual level. I know you arent making anymore playable story lines but *pushes up grasses revealing a menacing looking glare* this is awesome.

On PC(!) you can delete previous game folder completely, cause saves stored in ...\AppData\Roaming\RenPy. Or just download new version and play.

If there's nothing odd happening, updates on Itch usually included 2 updates, so I'd go from 1.154 to 1.156 (as 1.155 is included in that).
